In June, Morrisons Partners Catherine Fisher undertook a week-long roadshow across China, presenting on the topic of “Doing business and investing in the UK”.
Ahead of EuropeFides' Annual General Meeting (AGM) in Shanghai on the 20th June, Morrisons' Head of Dispute Resolution took the opportunity to join a roadshow across China; delivering presentations in some of China's largest cities on "Doing Business and Investing in the UK".
The roadshow was a joint endeavour with Wimbledon based accountants, WSM Advisors, and China based consulting firm, R&T Consulting. Catherine provided expert legal commentary on UK investment opportunities and immigration, and WSM Partner Simon Marsh provided key insights on the tax and accounting aspects. R&T Consulting facilitated the presentations and were gracious hosts during the trip.
Catherine and Simon spoke at several sessions which were well attended by local business leaders and potential investors. The sessions took place across various Chinese cities, including Hong Kong, Chongqing and Guangzhou; culminating in Shanghai for the EuropeFides’ AGM.
