In June, Morrisons Partners Catherine Fisher and John Andrews undertook a week-long roadshow across China, presenting on the topic of “Doing business and investing in the UK”.
Ahead of EuropeFides‘ Annual General Meeting (AGM) in Shanghai on the 20th June, Morrisons’ Head of Dispute Resolution, Catherine Fisher, and Head of Corporate and Commercial, John Andrews, took the opportunity to join a roadshow across China; delivering presentations in some of China’s largest cities on “Doing Business and Investing in the UK”.
The roadshow was a joint endeavour with Wimbledon based accountants, WSM Advisors, and China based consulting firm, R&T Consulting. John and Catherine provided expert legal commentary on UK investment opportunities and immigration, and WSM Partner Simon Marsh provided key insights on the tax and accounting aspects. R&T Consulting facilitated the presentations and were gracious hosts during the trip.
Catherine, John and Simon spoke at several sessions which were well attended by local business leaders and potential investors. The sessions took place across various Chinese cities, including Hong Kong, Chongqing and Guangzhou; culminating in Shanghai for the EuropeFides’ AGM.
Morrisons Solicitors and WSM Advisors are proud members of EuropeFides, which is a multi-disciplinary association of small and medium-sized independent law, tax, audit and accounting firms from all over the globe.
