The results are in for this year’s Chambers and Partners UK guide, where independent researchers deliver detailed insight into the country’s leading lawyers. We are delighted to announce that Morrisons Solicitors have been ranked in several categories, including individual rankings for two of our department heads.
Firstly, our Family team saw great success with the department receiving a top tier rating of Band 1 for Crawley and surrounds. The research notes that they are a “leading team in the region” regularly acting on high-value financial disputes, which often involve assets such as companies, properties and trusts. The department also support clients on child-related matters, including cases involving international relocation and domestic abuse. Clients noted that the team delivers “prompt, practical and effective action and communication“, with another stating, “I felt I was fully supported during a very confusing and legally complicated time.”
Head of the family law team, Stephanie Calthrop-Owen, was also ranked individually as Band 1 for Crawley and surrounds, noted for having “a great deal of experience in family law matters”. Clients describe Stephanie as “very effective, efficient, clear-thinking, rational and kind“ as well as “always thinking a few steps ahead of everyone else and her knowledge shows.”
The Chambers High Net Worth Guide 2021 was also released this week, bringing a great result for our Private Client team as head of department, Holly Chantler, was rated Band 2 for Crawley and surrounds in Private Wealth Law. One source enthused “She is brilliant, absolutely brilliant.”, with further comments stating that Holly is very knowledgeable, and excels at explaining matters to clients and putting them at ease. A fellow solicitor interviewed as part of the research noted that “Chantler has an incisive legal mind and an excellent manner both with her team and her clients.”
