Morrisons are delighted to announce that we have been shortlisted for both the Law Society Excellence Awards and the Surrey Law Society Legal Awards 2019.
After winning Law Firm of the Year 2018 last September, we have been shortlisted for Law Firm of the Year 2019 at the SLS Legal Awards. We have also been shortlisted for the Law Society Excellence Awards for Medium Law Firm of the Year. Whilst Holly Chantler, Partner and our Head of Private Client has been nominated at the SLS Legal Awards for both Private Client Lawyer of the Year and Lawyer of the Year this is a testament to the hard work Holly has put it in over the past 12 months.

The Law Society Excellence Awards have been celebrating the work of solicitors since 2006, they are an opportunity to showcase the best of the profession and recognise hard work and achievements across England and Wales. Being nominated for Medium Law Firm of the Year 2019 is a huge achievement for Morrisons as it showcases our core values and mission to establish ourselves as a leading law firm and the progress we have made towards achieving this.
The Surrey Law Society Legal Awards are in their second year and after winning Law Firm of the Year in their first year, it is an honour to be nominated again this year. They describe the criteria for this award as being able to “show significant progress and development as a business within the last 12 months. The firm must also be able to demonstrate that [they] have a rounded approach to the delivery of legal services, and that [they] are working in the best interest of not only [their] clients but the profession overall.” We believe this is what we strive to and are grateful to have been nominated.
The Law Society Excellence Awards are taking place on Wednesday 23rd October and the Surrey Law Society Legal Awards on Thursday 19th September. Congratulations to all that have been shortlisted and we look forward to seeing everyone at both award ceremonies.
