On Friday 24th August, Morrisons Solicitors sponsored the Reigate Priory Bowling Club Mixed Invitation event and what a fantastic day it turned out to be.
As part of our recent partnership with the club, we offered our support to one of their most popular invitation days of the summer. The afternoon kicked off at 13:00pm with 14 teams from various clubs playing Rinks, totaling 56 players.
The weather held strong as the teams competed against each other for the first place prize, a Morrisons Solicitors trophy and a £100 cash. As the competition wrapped up, the players withdrew to the club house for a pie and mash supper and awaited the announcement of the winning team.
The club thanked Morrisons Solicitors for supporting the event and handed over to Holly Chantler (Partner, Head of Private Client) and Rod Cowles (Consultant, Private Client) to hand out the prizes.
Last but not least, the raffle got underway with many of the club attendees donating to the draw, which included numerous bottles of wine, confectionery and household items, as well as our Morrisons Hamper packed full of goodies. It was safe to say that lots of the guests managed to go home with something!
