Mel joined Wheelers Solicitors in 1992 after completing his training at a large provincial practice, and was appointed a partner in 1996. He is the Head of Employment Law at Morr & Co, following their merger with Wheelers Solicitors in 2019.

Mel has specialised in the field of employment law for over 20 years and acts both employers and employees. He frequently appears in employment tribunals across the South of England and, occasionally, further afield and is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association

Interests

Being an employment lawyer doesn't leave a lot of time for recreation thanks to the deluge of new law and regulation, which seems unremitting!

However, Mel still manages to pursue his love of sport by playing squash, football and occasional golf - albeit with diminishing speed grace and power.
