Whilst the rate of divorce may be increasing so is the rate of weddings, particularly amongst those over the age of 55. In 2011 there was a 6.9% increase in the number of women aged 55 to 59 marrying and a 6.5% increase in men over 60 marrying.
Marriage is on the increase!
