Morrisons Solicitors host their final WYPG networking evening

On 2 March 2017, Morrisons Solicitors held their last ever WYPG (Wimbledon Young Professionals Group) as hosts and organisers of this popular local networking event. After seven successful years of helping to support the young professional community to establish new local business connections, Morrisons have now handed this event over to the Merton Chamber and Love Wimbledon.

Lots of regular attendees along with some new welcome faces joined us at the Old Frizzle on Wimbledon Broadway and what an enjoyable evening it turned out to be! Guests enjoyed complimentary drinks and delicious appetizers throughout the course of the evening as they caught up with old friends and made some new ones too!

Michael Knights and Jordan Clarke of Morrisons Solicitors said a few words regarding the handover and thanked everyone for their continued support, before introducing John Merriman and Helen Clark Bell from the Merton Chamber and Love Wimbledon. It is clear from John’s speech that the they are looking to continue to grow WYPG and ensure that all attendees get the most they possibly can out of these events going forward. We should all be excited to see what the future has in store for this great networking event.

When the speeches were said and done, it was time for Morrisons’ final business card prize draw, which saw Emma Pollard (Capsticks LLP) and Brendan Lee (Qdos) take home a bottle of bubbly and a Morrisons’ goody bag. Congratulations again to them!

What a brilliant last seven years this has been and once again thank you to all of our attendees and sponsors that have contributed in making this event so successful. The Merton Chamber and Love Wimbledon will be in touch regarding the next WYPG and we look forward to seeing you all there… as guests this time!
