Laura joined Morr & Co in February 2018, initially working as a paralegal in the Residential Property Department and thereafter completing her training contract within our firm.

During her training contract, Laura completed an extended seat within the Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence Department and as a result decided that she wanted to practice within this area of law.

As such, Laura qualified into the department as a solicitor in September 2022. She currently works alongside Charlotte Rees-Knowlden and Sundeesh Makkar assisting with their cases.

Laura acts solely for Claimants, in a wide variety of both personal injury and clinical negligence claims. Laura has experience acting on cases involving complex brain injuries, Musculo-skeletal injuries internal organ injuries and dental injuries, as well as clinical negligence cases involving late / misdiagnosis.

Laura has a particular interest in traumatic brain injuries and is especially passionate about understanding each client and their individual needs. Laura recognises how brain injury clients in particular, may have specific needs that might not be immediately apparent and continues to expand her knowledge in this area through independent research and training.

Laura appreciates the value of early implementation of rehabilitation for clients. Laura has seen first-hand the benefit that clients experience when they are able to receive rehabilitation treatment at the earliest opportunity, as well as the value it can have for their families. This includes cognitive behaviour therapy to assist individuals dealing with the psychological impact of their accident/injuries as soon as possible, family counselling, personal training sessions to aid physical recovery and home adaptations.

Alongside her role Laura is a qualified Mental Health first-aider and also a professional mentor for others within the firm.
