Katie Woodcock

Katie joined the dispute resolution team at Morr & Co in 2020. Since qualifying, Katie has gained broad experience in her area and has been successful in pursuing and defending claims both through and outside of the Courts. Katie’s practice involves complex contentious trusts and probate disputes as well as contentious Court of Protection matters.

Katie is a specialist in disputes surrounding the validity of wills, the administration of deceased estates, breach of trust, family property arrangements, the removal of executors/trustees. Katie also brings and defends claims under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975. She represents clients in contentious applications to the Court of Protection involving statutory wills, deputyships and those involving the conduct of attorneys including financial abuse.

Katie has a passion for disputes involving vulnerable individuals and understands the complex family relationships that revolve around such issues. She a skilled communicator and is able to focus on the key issues. She is adept at finding sensible and creative solutions to legal issues.

Katie has been noted in the Legal 500 for her work in this area.  Katie is a Member of the Association of Contentious Trust and Probate Solicitors (ACTAPS)
