Jack joined the firm in September 2021 as an Assistant Executive in our Court of Protection team based out of our Redhill office having spent seven years at a national firm where he has undertaken the same type of work since August 2016.

Jack has significant experience in dealing with clients that are deemed to lack capacity to manage their own property and affairs including as a result of a personal injury or clinical negligence, those that suffer from mental health issues who often have fluctuating capacity and the more vulnerable and elderly clients that might have learning difficulties or who have been diagnosed with Dementia or Alzheimer’s Disease and consequently need a deputy to act on their behalf in their best interests.

Jack currently assists on all aspects of property and affairs deputyships but mainly carrying out day to day management of client’s affairs, liaising with their families, local authorities and other professionals in the process. Jack also has some experience in making one off applications to the Court of Protection for the appointment of a lay deputy where the appointment of a professional deputy may not be necessary.

Interests

In his spare time, Jack regularly travels all over the country supporting Crystal Palace FC away from home although this has been limited somewhat following the birth of his daughter in April 2021.
