Chris is a Partner in Morr & Co’s Dispute Resolution team, specialising in the resolution of complex commercial disputes for both corporate entities and private individuals. Chris has extensive experience of dealing with litigation in both the High Court, including in the specialist commercial courts, and the County Court. In addition, Chris is well versed in the use of Alternative Dispute Resolution mechanisms, including mediation and expert determination, to resolve disputes outside of the court process.

In addition, Chris is experienced in contentious intellectual property matters including claims relating to trade mark infringement, passing off and copyright infringement. Chris also represents clients in claims arising from personal data breaches, the misuse of cookies and the use of dynamic search advertisements that potentially infringe on third party trade marks.

Chris is recognised in the Legal 500 for both his work in commercial litigation and his contentious intellectual property practice.  Joining Morr & Co in 2022, Chris has over 16 years of commercial dispute resolution experience gained at both national and regional law firms, in addition to a period of time spent working in-house for a national retailer.

Chris has experience of working across many different industry sectors, including technology, energy, retail and education.

Chris works with clients to proactively manage risk, helping them to avoid disputes and litigation whenever feasible. In cases where resolution without litigation is not achievable, Chris adopts a commercial approach focused on addressing issues in a timely and cost-effective manner, while remaining aligned to his clients' objectives.
