Chris is a Partner in Morr & Co’s Dispute Resolution team, specialising in resolving complex commercial disputes.
In addition to commercial litigation, Chris deals with contentious intellectual property matters including those relating to trade mark infringement, copyright infringement and passing off.
Chris is recognised in Legal 500 for both his work in commercial litigation and his IP work.
Chris joined Morr & Co in 2022 and has over 16 years commercial dispute resolution experience, gained at national and regional law firms as well as during a spell in the in-house legal team for a well-known national retailer.
His broad experience includes working across many different sectors, including technology, energy, retail, and education.
Chris works with clients to pro-actively manage risk, helping them avoid disputes and litigation where possible. However, when disputes do arise Chris takes a commercial approach, ensuring issues are resolved in a timely and cost-effective manner, and are aligned to the objectives of the business. Chris has experience of using various alternative dispute resolution mechanisms, as well as being able to take a firm approach through the Courts where necessary.
Outside of work, Chris is a keen rugby fan and he is a passionate supporter of the All Black.
