Charlotte qualified as a Solicitor in 2010. She spent eight years with a law firm in West Sussex prior to joining Morrisons in September 2018.
Charlotte specialises in advising clients on their estate planning including Wills, inheritance tax planning, succession planning/wealth protection and preparing and registering Powers of Attorney. Her focus in recent years has been on advising clients with highly complex estates where more specialist planning is likely to be required. She also has a wealth of experience in offering advice and support to elderly and vulnerable clients.
The aspect of her work that Charlotte particularly enjoys is the interaction with her clients. Charlotte feels privileged to be in a position where she is able to offer help and advice, often in difficult circumstances.
In 2012, Charlotte was recognised as a ‘Top 35 Under 35 Private Client Practitioner’.
Owing to our growing digital footprint, Charlotte is increasingly advising clients on how best to deal with their digital assets. She has contributed to an Elder Law Journal article on this topic, with particular emphasis on what to consider when making a Will and providing guidance to executors on how to address digital assets when administering an estate.
In her spare time, Charlotte likes to sew or relax with a good book. She also enjoys Pilates and going for walks with her family.
Charlotte once appeared on television on a well-known game show, which shall remain nameless (but the format of which is based on a supermarket!) Sadly she didn’t win, but the experience alone was a prize in itself!
