Double Partner Promotion at Morrisons

We are delighted to announce the promotion of Lily Mclean and Laura Hooke to the Partnership, effective from 1st May 2021.

Lily Mclean joined our commercial property team on qualification as a solicitor in March 2016. Lily works with business owners, landlords and developers, on a diverse range of commercial property matters. Her technical skills and excellent service delivery have helped her build an exceptional reputation with clients across London and the South East.

Laura Hooke joined our residential conveyancing team in 2020, bringing with her an outstanding reputation across the region with clients and agents alike. Laura advises on the full spectrum of residential conveyancing matters and she delivers an outstanding service to her clients, whilst also helping lead the conveyancing team in our Wimbledon office. Laura also has experience in leasehold enfranchisement matters and works closely with Morrisons Solicitors’ leasehold enfranchisement team where transactional support is required.

Paul Harvey, Managing Partner, commented “It gives me enormous pleasure to welcome both Laura and Lily to the partnership. Their abilities as lawyers and the way in which they serve  clients mean they are both great assets to the firm and to their departments.

Both promotions are particularly satisfying as they demonstrate that we promote people based on merit and the firm’s values and not just on length of service nor how long they have been practicing.”

These promotions further enhance the firm’s expertise and continued commitment to the entire property sector. Morrisons Solicitors now has Partners and teams focused on: residential and commercial property transactions, construction, property disputes for both businesses and individuals, party wall disputes, and leasehold enfranchisement.
