Mediation – why it makes sense

Following the drastic cuts in legal aid availability from 1st April this year, many divorcing or separating couples are facing difficulties in dealing with their family law problems, but help is at hand if they attend mediation.

There is no need to attend court, the process is generally far quicker than the traditional approach (usually only 4 to 6 sessions are need) and considerably cheaper. All issues can be dealt with, from divorce and separation, to dealing with the children, the family home and the finances generally.

At Morrisons we see Mediation as part of our Family Law toolkit as we take care to match the service to the client’s needs. Our Mediators are experienced Family Lawyers and Mediators and can offer sessions at any of our offices to suit you. For further information contact a member of our Family Team.
