Tasha Bevan-Stewart, a Senior Associate Solicitor in our Family team in Camberley, is a key speaker at the first Isle of Man Law Society Family Law conference which is taking place this week.

Tasha will be speaking on collaborative practice, and sharing her experiences of collaborative law with Isle of Man family law practitioners. Tasha has a wealth of experience to draw upon, she is a Resolution-trained mediator and is a specialist in collaborative law, with particular expertise in financial cases with a 100% success rate in reaching financial settlements in collaborative cases.

Collaborative practice is a way of resolving family legal issues round table without resorting to court proceedings. The lawyers work co-operatively with both clients and expert advisers to solve financial and childcare issues on divorce. It is a practise that is suited to those clients wishing to deal with their arrangements for separation constructively, minimising blame and conserving legal costs.

The Isle of Man Law Society Family Law Conference takes place from 26th – 27th March in Douglas, Isle of Man. Other key speakers include Neil Robinson, Mediator and mediation trainer, Karin Walker, Family Lawyer and Arbitrator at K G W and Michael Horton.

For further information about the conference or collaborative practice please contact Tasha Bevan-Stewart directly either by telephone 01276 401 687 or by email at [email protected]
