Collaborative practice is a way of resolving family legal issues round table without resorting to court proceedings. The lawyers work co-operatively with both clients and expert advisers to solve financial and childcare issues on divorce. It is a practise that is suited to those clients wishing to deal with their arrangements for separation constructively, minimising blame and conserving legal costs.
The Isle of Man Law Society Family Law Conference takes place from 26th – 27th March in Douglas, Isle of Man. Other key speakers include Neil Robinson, Mediator and mediation trainer, Karin Walker, Family Lawyer and Arbitrator at K G W and Michael Horton.
