Morrisons’ Dementia Friends Event

This year Alzheimer’s Society are holding their Dementia Action Week from 20th – 26th May. During this week we are going to be holding a Dementia Friends event so you can learn how to become a Dementia Friend in your local community.

What is a Dementia Friend?

A Dementia Friend is somebody that learns about dementia so they can help their community.

Who can be a Dementia Friend?

Everyone! Dementia Friends is open to anyone who wants to help people with dementia in their community.

We will be running two sessions on Thursday 22nd May at our Head Office in Redhill, which will be hosted by our Dementia Champions Karen Grimm and Tamzin Freeman.

Session 1: 11am – 12pm

Lunch: 12pm – 2pm (Lunch will be provided for all attendees, please let us know if you will be able to join us for lunch)

Session 2:  2pm – 3pm
