Many business owners and HR professionals are feeling swamped by the various press reports on changes in employment law expected in 2013.   In addition to new legislation already planned for this year such as the  much debated ’employee shareholder  status ‘ and the introduction of tribunal fees, there are several  Government consultation papers seeking views on forthcoming  changes.

In this blog, we will guide you through changes in the law, when they will be in force and provide a brief overview of the impact for businesses, as soon as we are aware of it.  To assist businesses in knowing what changes are coming in imminently and therefore need to be considered first, we have developed a coding system for our blogs to assist. Green denotes a change that is anticipated or in force this year and may require action. Amber relates to changes that are anticipated in coming years and are for employers to be aware of.
