Shared Parental Leave: Acas non statutory guidance published

The long awaited Acas guidance ‘Shared Parental Leave: a good practice guide for employers and employees’  Shared Parental Leave: a good practice guide for employers and employees’  was published yesterday.  The guidance is published only days after a further blockbuster of seven sets of draft Regulations on this subject. It is expected that the final set of draft regulations will be put before Parliament on 6 November 2014.

Shared Parental Leave is in force from 1 December 2014. HR Managers can expect to  receive applications from January 2015 and queries from employees any time now.
