In our 13th June blog, we informed you of the Government’s decision to limit the compensatory award for unfair dismissal to the lower of the claimant’s annual salary or the statutory cap, which is currently £74,200.
We now know that this will come into force on 29 July 2013 and any dismissal found to be unfair from this date onwards will be subject to the new limits.
