Connect Woking attracted a fantastic turn out last night (15 Oct). Over 50 local business professionals joined us for an evening of great networking and catching up with old friends in the wonderful main gallery of the Lightbox.
Guests enjoyed complimentary drinks and canapés in the presence of the ‘Warhol and the World of Pop Art’ exhibition, celebrating the rich, colourful and influential period of the 1960’s from some of the world’s most famous artists.
The Lightbox’s main gallery provided the perfect setting for attendees to mingle and make new contacts outside of work while enjoying dynamic new ways of presenting art.
Catherine Fisher, a Partner of Morrisons Solicitors and the Head of the Dispute Resolution team, hosted the business card prize draw and provided an encouraging speech on Connect Woking’s value to the local business community. The lucky name to be pulled out this time was Paul Webster from the Woking Chamber of Commerce who went home with one of our famous Morrisons goody bags, which included chocolates and a bottle of prosecco amongst other things! Congratulations to Paul!
The feedback that we have received from our partners, solicitors and our guests of the evening has been nothing but positive and we would like to thank everyone for coming along and helping us to support business within the local area.
We hope to see everyone again soon for our next Connect Woking networking evening in January (date to be confirmed). For more information on this or any of our other events please contact Jordan Clarke on Jo[email protected] or visit https://www.morrlaw.com/events/
