R&R Connects brings together the local business community

On Thursday 31 March we held our bi-monthly Redhill & Reigate Connects (R&R) and after the great success of the last event in January we went back to the newly refurbished Old Reigatian RFC Club House, which provided the perfect setting for this popular networking evening.

This time, Martin & Co Lettings and Estate Agents were our sponsors for the evening, which saw 80 business men and women from the local and surrounding areas turn up to enjoy a great opportunity to network and catch up with old friends over complimentary drinks and canapés.

Stephanie Calthrop-Owen, Partner at Morrisons Solicitors and Nick Guy, Sales and Lettings Manager at Martin & Co, said a few words and thanked guests for their attendance and continued support of this well established local event.

Collette Barber, Managing Director of ‘All Your Business Needs’ and also this years organiser of the Reigate Community Festival, provided an encouraging speech on the forthcoming festival in July and the exciting opportunities that it brings to the local community.

Congratulations to Mike Lovell (Woodlands) and Des Shepherd (Action Broadcast & Freelance Photographer/Author), for winning our business card prize draw and taking home a bottle of champagne courtesy of Martin& Co and a Morrisons’ goody bag!

Now into its seventh year, R&R Connects has become a very popular bi-monthly fixture within the local community. We would like to say a big thank you to Old Reigatian RFC for their hospitality on the night and to Martin & Co for sponsoring this event. The next R&R Connects will take place on 26 May 2016.
