R&R Connects sponsored by 4D Data Centres

On Thursday 19th July we hosted our bi monthly networking event R&R Connects, held at Old Reigatians and was generously sponsored by 4D Data centres.

The evening got off to a great start with around 60 people joining us for complimentary drinks and canapes on a sunny Thursday evening. We welcomed many new faces this time around, as well as our regular guests who all had the chance to network throughout the evening and we hope managed to make a few good local connections.

Jordan Clarke, a member of our Business Development and Marketing team took a moment to thank everybody for coming along before mentioning a couple of events we have coming up – including our R&R Zone at Run Reigate on 16th September where we will welcome anybody, runner or spectator, to come and enjoy a variety of refreshments, massages and goodies. Jordan also mentioned that Morrisons are sponsoring the ‘Businessperson of the year’ award at The Surrey Business Awards, which takes place on 4th October, celebrating excellence amongst the Surrey business community.

Jack Bedell-Pearce from 4D Data Centres then took centre stage explaining a little about their company before moving onto an interactive poll for everyone to get involved with drawing on the hot topics of Brexit and GDPR. A big thank you to them for sponsoring the event and supplying drinks and canapes for us all to enjoy. Congratulations this time go to Diane Dunkley from RM2 Music, a new attendee to R&R, for winning our business card prize draw and taking home our bag full of Morrisons goodies!

Our next R&R Connects networking event will be held on Thursday 27th September, we will be sending out an official invite soon so look out for it!
