On Thursday 28th February we hosted our first Redhill: Reigate Connects (R&R) of 2019 at Old Reigations Rugby Club.
Around 70 people joined us on the evening for drinks, canapes and informal networking. We welcomed lots of new faces as well as many of our regular guests, all of whom had the opportunity to network throughout the evening and we hope everyone managed to make a few good connections!
Charlotte Thomas, Senior Associate Solicitor in our Redhill Private Client team took a moment to thank everyone for joining us before making a few announcements on behalf of everyone at Morrisons.
The first being that we acquired Oxted based firm Harrops and Hepburn Solicitors back in December 2018, you can find out more about this here. The second being that Kaya Suleyman, Paralegal in our Redhill Family team has been nominated for ‘Best Family Paralegal’ at the National Paralegal Awards, more information regarding the awards can be found here.
Finally, Charlotte announced that we will be the headline sponsors of the Reigate and Banstead Business Awards 2019, the inaugural awards are the first of their kind for the borough and will highlight the diverse range of successful businesses in our local area. They will take place on 6th June, to enter or to find out more visit their website.
Charlotte then drew the business card draw. The 2nd prize of a bottle of prosecco was won by Stephen Muggridge of Woodlands Estate Agents, whilst 1st Prize of a Morrisons Goody Bag filled with wine, chocolates and various other items went to Mark Kendal of Sussex Data Solutions. Congratulations again to the both of you!
