Morrisons and Centre Court bring young professionals of Wimbledon together

On Thursday 21 April 2016 we held our popular quarterly Wimbledon Young Professionals Group (WYPG) and this time we teamed up with Centre Court who ensured that this was a night not to be missed!

It was great to see to see so many new faces amongst our regular attendees turn up at the stylish Hemingways Bar in the Wimbledon Village, as this well established event saw over 70 local young professionals come together for a free, fun evening of networking.

Guests enjoyed complimentary drinks, pizza and brilliant live music from artist Joe Boshell, as he kept everyone’s spirits high late into the evening with a variety of popular covers both old and new.

Michael Knights, Associate Solicitor within our Morrisons Dispute Resolution team, and Jordan Clarke, Business Development and Events Executive, thanked everyone for coming and got the business card prize draw underway! Congratulations to James Clark from Haines Watts and Stuart Etherington from Say Comms, for winning our business card prize draw and going home with a Morrisons goody bag and a £50 ECCO Voucher from our sponsors Centre Court.

Those guests that didn’t win, they still had the chance to go home with a prize if they managed to pull out a gift voucher from Centre Courts’ mysterious lucky dip box! We hope that our winners can treat themselves to something nice!

WYPG has become a regular local fixture and has helped to support young professionals to widen their business world for over six years. The next WYPG will take place on 21 July 2016 and will be sponsored by Clear Insurance Management. For an invitation or more information please email [email protected]
