This year we have been proud to sponsor the Reigate Christmas Fayre, which took place last Saturday (5 December) in Church Street in Reigate.
The annual event is run by the Reigate Business Guild and brings together dozens of local businesses, delicious street food, festive entertainment and donkey rides all in aid of the Reigate Christmas Lights. There was a great festive atmosphere all day, with hundreds of local families visiting the many stalls packed with Christmas goodies.
This year Lee Latchford Evans, formerly of the pop group Steps and currently appearing as Aladdin at The Harlequin Theatre in Redhill switched on the stunning Christmas lights at 4.45pm in front of a packed Church Street, with Reigate and Banstead Mayor Joan Spiers assisting. As the lights came on the snow started to fall and crowds were serenaded with Christmas Carols – the perfect end to a wonderful day.
