Long Term Prospects
Morrisons has a track record of offering strong candidates positions as newly-qualified solicitors in their chosen specialist area. Successful trainees will demonstrate they are technically competent, committed, ambitious and entrepreneurial.
However, market conditions do influence our ability to take on trainees and it is therefore not possible to guarantee that a position will be found.
Return to topApplications
We look for applicants with a good academic background and although we do not set rigid thresholds, at least a 2.1 is normally expected. We welcome applications from both law and non-law graduates.
We look for individuals with personality, confidence, commercial awareness and attention to detail. Being able to work in a team alongside all colleagues, from the most senior to the most junior, is also vital.
We usually recruit two trainee solicitors a year, with employment starting in September.
We operate an equal opportunities policy and all positions are awarded on merit.
Applications should be received between 1 April and 31 May in the year before the year the Training Contract would start. For example, if you wish to apply for a Training Contract in September 2013, your application should be received by us no later than 31 May 2012.
If you wish to apply for a training contract then please send your CV and covering letter to:
